Empowering young people across Wales with the new Skills Suite

From September 2027, the new Skills Suite - made up of Skills for Life, Skills for Work, and a Personal Project - will be available to 14 to 16-year-olds in Wales.

The King’s Trust Cymru is proud to be an awarding body for the Skills Suite and Personal Project Qualifications. Approved by Qualifications Wales, we can support you to deliver both as part of our flagship
programme.

Whether you are a long-standing partner or looking to work with us for the first time, you can learn more about these qualifications below.

The Skills Suite

A dynamic qualification, available in Cymraeg and English, featuring 47+ engaging units across:

  • Skills for Work

  • Skills for Life

  • Skills for Life and Work (a combination of units across both qualifications)

Available from Entry Level to Level 2, the Skills Suite gives learners the flexibility to build the capabilities they need most, at a pace and level that suits the

The Personal Project

A fully independent, learner-led project where young people explore a topic that inspires them. Available in Cymraeg and English from Entry Level to Level 2, it gives young people the chance to showcase their creativity, initiative and drive.
