Stronger Communities (Developing Resilience)

Time: Dependent

This unit explores the benefits of being part of supportive communities and encourages the learners to discuss the consequences of negative action in a community. Learners will experience being part of a small community working towards a common goal and reflect on this experience.

These session plans and resources have been designed for younger learners aged 11-13 but they can be adapted to meet the needs of other age ranges.

How will this unit be assessed?

Learners must successfully demonstrate they have covered all learning outcomes at the level they are working towards to pass this unit. They will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence. A tracking sheet must be submitted with the portfolio of evidence. Tracking sheets should be downloaded from the .
